When asked to re-think the traditional plug-in iron, I wanted to design something inclusive. I chose to design an iron that could be used by people with arthritis. The normal handle of an iron is not suitable for people who have difficulty bending their fingers.

I conducted research on what shape the handle should be by the use of finger splints and did real-world testing on my Grandmother who suffers from arthritis.
